Furniture Designer

Responsibilities

Coordinate Sample furniture deliveries to clients and to the showroom
Visit Manufacturers’ Showrooms, build relationships with Reps, learn about products
Maintain Vendor information
Research new products and keep up with the latest trends
Recommends products to Sales people based on requirements
Participates in Project Meetings and Team Meetings

The ideal candidate has:

a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in contract furniture
A. in Design, Fine Art or related field
Basic knowledge of the contract furniture industry
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail a must!
Demonstration of good judgment and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in 2020 CAP Worksheet, Microsoft Excel, Publisher, Word
Sketch Up a plus!
AutoCAD a plus, too!
